The founding fathers of the Golden Rice Humanitarian Project

Lead by Prof. Ingo Potrykus and Peter Beyer, researchers and scientists around the world have come together to create, distribute and impliment Golden Rice into coutries in Asia and Africa. The Golden Rice Project is a not for profite organization whose main goal is to help prevent vitamin A deficiencies in underdeveloped countires.  Potrykus and Beyer argue, their rice is safe for human consumption and if the world sits back and does not implement the rice into these countries millions of children will die.
